Here’s a simple homemade protein/energy drink recipe
Ingredients:
8 oz. fat-free milk
8 oz. pineapple juice
2 tbsp. oat or wheat bran
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. natural cocoaÂ
3 scoops 100% whey protein isolate or egg white protein powder
This drink has 50-60 grams of protein & close to 88 grams of carbohydrates & almost no fat. Plus, this has lots of fiber, vitamins & minerals. This shake would be great for the morning & post-workout with a scoop of casein protein.Â
My take is try the shake out & hopefully you get lots of energy while it’s feeding your muscles.
